In the Koei’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms series you choose a ruler such as Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Quan (or create your own) and fight with all the other rulers of the Three Kingdoms era for control of China.
To do this you need to manage your city to ensure economic stability and growth, plan your invasions to expand at a safe pace, maintain (or destroy) diplomatic relations with your neighbors, and prepare your troops for war.
